Interprofessional Education - The Future of Health Professions Education

Project Description

The purpose of this research study is to examine constructs of interprofessional education, including but not limited to experiential learning, student leadership, self-efficacy and cultural competence of health professional students and educators.  

Work Description

Selected applicant will work with Dr. Laura Smith to:

  • Maintain confidential research records of study participants.
  • Perform data collection using Qualtrix and face to face meetings.
  • Perform data entry and preliminary analysis using SPSS software.
  • Participate in the process of dissemination of study findings and scientific writing process including submission as a peer reviewed presentations or peer reviewed publications.
  • Participate in other miscellaneous research tasks as needed.
  • Work schedule vary based on the schedule of participants. 

Requirements Description

Special requirements:

Applicants for this position must:

  • Be a graduate student with good academic standing.
  • Be dependable, resilient, and attentive to details with strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Have a previous research experience. Experience in scientific writing is preferred.
  • Be familiar with basic clinical interactions with study participants.
  • Completed the PEERS training course required for GSRA’s by the time of the interview. (
  • Be competent in data entry and data analysis using SPSS software.

Work Schedule

Work schedule varied but flexible schedule for scientific writing and data analysis.
