Designing technology to help newcomers cope with anxiety/stress

Project Description

This research extends an ongoing study to examine how technology can be designed to help newcomers, such as international students and immigrants, cope with anxiety and stress due to difficulties encountered in a new environment.


Work Description

The graduate student research assistant is expected to work with the supervisor to perform data collection and analysis, technology design and prototyping, as well as literature review and manuscript writing. Throughout the research project, the supervisor will provide adequate mentoring and supervision.

Work Schedule

The GSRA is expected to meet with the supervisor weekly to review progress and discuss next steps.
